stranger in a strange land was interesting but it felt like what you would get if someone decided to write "dark" fan fiction about some infantile sci fi like mork and mindy or buck rogers or the like but mork came after stranger so he was still ahead of his time I guess

i started reading wheel of time when i was younger and just wanted to see how it ended so i read the whole thing. since then ive read better books so i realize that he wasnt some master craftsman but it was still entertaining also seconding ventus, was good book

time travel can be fine if its done properly but its really really hard to do properly (see tng finale) and really really easy to do bad (see everything to do with voyager, enterprise)
