Slough Feg has a new album coming out on the 21st. I really like the old Opeth a lot. They are what got me into metal with growling vocals. Their new stuff is just super boring to me. That new song sounds like every other boring thing they have done lately. At least when you go see them live they play a couple of old songs.

Belphegor is amazing live, and Suffocation was ridiculous. The Sanctuary in Hamtramck, MI might be my favorite venue ever. Going there tomorrow for Gatecreeper and Exhumed too.

Just popping in late to the party to say that the new Necrot album is a loving banger. I had never heard of them until last year, saw them open for Gatecreeper and Exhumed back in November in Hamtramck, MI. They are awesome live and super friendly in person. Wish I bought a shirt there. I spent all my cash that night on Gatecreeper merch and beer. edit: maybe they opened for Suffocation the night before? I forget. Drunk metal weekend.
