Kajeesus posted:You also skipped a smidgeon of vanilla content just now. Actually if Angelo arrests you there are two ways to escape. You can escape through a secret passage, or if you have Shar-teel in your party she reveals she is Angelo's daughter and he lets you go.

The only problem I had with Shar-Teel was how after you exhausted her mod content the LP became "Shar-Teel's creepy flirt hour". That and her propensity to die if a stiff breeze hit her. Still, if Shar-Teel returns I won't complain.

To clarify, some of the individual mods work, but until all the mods are updated there is no way BWP could work with EE.

I love how that "they" is so indefinite.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Horde. They have trampled out the temple where Syv's spells are all restored. They have loosed the fateful fireballs and stopped Sarevok's chill sword. Their truth is hopping on. Glory, glory Hallelujah! Glory, glory Hallelujah! Glory, glory hallelujah! Their truth is hopping on!

Wow deciding between these is a difficult choice. Much as I love the bunnies, I'm gonna have to go for Ending E. I'm so sorry bunny corpses!

bladedsmoke posted:I like the organic narratives that LPs conjure up, that's why I read them. And I think Vorgen does the best job with that I've seen. I think both E and B were good endings which build on everything the LP's been about so far - E builds on the Golden Company and Syv's callousness, B builds on the themes of the Weave and Syv's power madness and exploitation of the rules of magic. I'm glad those two were the most-voted for, as they're honestly the two strongest conclusions. I agree. I also agree with Vorgen's choice to not show off the Imoen romance. That mod is one rabbit hole too far.

Benjifer posted:I forgot about Cernd... The Shapeshifter kit is broken in the original game so it doesn't work quite as well as it should do. He does allow you to sort of control the Druid Grove though. Plus, he's not bad as a caster. I'm pretty sure Imoen and Nalia have the same Int and Imoen gets specialist bonus spells despite the fact that she isn't a specialist mage. I don't remember if Nalia gets any bonus spells or not. I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Cythereal posted:A quality game rather than a franchise getting turned into a shambling zombie? Eh, I get what your saying here, but given how long it's been since anything Baldur's Gate related has been released it's probably a dead franchise anyway. Whether it stays dead or is a zombie, either way it is dead. And there is a small chance it'll turn out well. I mean the EE"s turned out okay. Eventually.

Cythereal posted:And it's been an enjoyable trainwreck, but personally I think the series should have been left in quiet retirement. If it's any consolation it's better than if a major publisher tried to make it. "EA presents Baldur's Gate III: Grittier, Darker, and only $14.99 for the classic characters pack!* (Minsc Extra) *Internet Connection required to play."

Modifying a BWP install is a bitch. Long story short, it ain't happening unless Vorgen's willing to risk the entire install breaking. As far as Saerilith goes, recruiting her actually might lock us out of content. She has her own resolution of the quest that gets you a ship to spellhold, and it locks you out of doing it the normal way. This means you would have to take Saerilith with you to Brynnlaw and whatever else. I'm not sure about this (I've never actually used Saerilith) but I think it activates when you recruit her. What I mean is the act of recruiting her might actually lock the shadow thieves/Bodhi quest resolutions.
