Melee just kind of sucks. If you know to grab Chance's Knife early on, you pretty much don't use anything else for like, a long goddamn time, which is boring. Unarmed ended up being a lot more interesting, even though I ended up using Pushy most of the time there.

And yeah, unarmed/melee inevitably takes more damage than ranged characters, so pump up the END. Survival is nice too.

GRA adds good melee poo poo iirc. Also, Knock knock can be grabbed early and is ownage. Chopper is pretty good for cripple bonus etc. But yeah all that stuff is fairly early, but at least there's some variety.

This reminds me that I've never done a low int run.

I always use energy when I play FO games, but this proton axe and saturite fist in OWB are pretty rad. Are there any really cool energy weapons to pick up in OWB? I'm really torn on this decision. My ammo seems to always be tight, I have thousands of energy ammo stockpiled, but melee doesn't use any ammo. Can anyone make a case for energy or melee? My general play style is moving quickly with fast weapon swap and skills that boost bullet time.
