Does anyone have a link to that study that looked at average total taxes paid in the US by income? It factored in everything, including benefits from food stamps all the way up to the mortgage interest deduction, state and local taxes, payroll taxes, sales taxes, etc. The results showed that nearly everyone pays around the same ~40% or so I think, with a few dramatic variations in odd circumstances. I didn't see it in the OP link section.
