Signed up for my first track day. Hooked on Driving, Thunderhill, CA. Too bad it's not until November.

How would you guys list "doing track days" on a resume? Has anyone put driving events on their resume with personal info/hobbies? I'm having trouble finding good wording - I want to say that I'm an intermediate level track day driver but without implying that I participate in races, if that makes sense.

I think it's a good idea to list a few hobbies, or whatever, as a footnote on your resume. Might help make you look like an interesting person to work with. If applicable, would highlight any track day volunteer work you've done or leadership stuff like being a club board member.

Think it's just a normal Hooked on Driving, novice thing.

I'd like to do the Corvette day in October but I'm spread a bit thin at the moment. Did sign up for the rally thing the day before. I'll probably be the youngest person there.

Did babies first track day on Friday. Through Hooked on Driving at Thunderhill.

Appreciated that they had us do a few drills in the morning, before getting out to the track. Figure eights on the skid pad w/ TC off off and a few braking drills to get folks trusting their ABS. Coaching was great too. Huge newbie gains.

I was the youngest person there with a Corvette by half.

Over the lawyer's dead bodies.

Totally unrelated to that, here is a "workout" that I did: https://www.strava.com/activities/436306320

As for cars with good headroom and a V8, have you considered a C5Z06? The interior is practically begging to be ripped out. :v:

Hey now. :colbert:

I'm good in my C5Z06 at 6'1" with a helmet. IDK about 6'3". Guess it would depend on how you like your seat positioned.
