I only ever heard that expression once before, and it was in one of the latest breaking bad episodes. I'm guessing they got it from SoA. Sounds like something we need to get to the bottom of and figure out.

What possible use was there for her to wear a wig? Does she wear it all the time, even at her office? Did she wear it only because she was going to Charming? Is it something she wears on all cases she looks into so she can slightly confuse a couple of people when she takes it off? Does Kurt Sutter think the sight of a "black" hairstyle is inherently intimidating?

Modus Operandi posted:SOA is definitely the worst show that i've followed this far. It's like one of those trainwrecks you can't peel your eyes away from. You have to watch terrible things unfold to their logical destructive conclusion. With shows like Sons of Anarchy or Californication I'm 100% convinced we are seeing someone's fetish on screen at some point every week. In Californication its at least mildly funny most of the time and generally harmless, even when it veers into uncomfortable territory. In SoA we get poo poo like Sutter jerking off to church pastors in a bisexual threesome getting murdered. Okay, he's probably not actually jerking off. You don't have to for it to be a fetish. Try not to think of the implications of this in regards to the child porn ring.

You know, when the mother and cop lived (even if he didn't manage to remember even woman cops generally know how shoot back and not run from guns like a teenager in a slasher movie) I thought to myself "Wow, Sutter managed to restrain himself from violently murdering a woman for one whole episode!" Wonder how they'll gloss that over next week. Let's not forget the ridiculousness of having someone fire a shotgun in a quiet lakeside neighbourhood, proceed to have their car run off the road into said lake, and then get rescued by a bunch of bikers pointing guns everywhere and apparently no one noticing.

I know its hard to trust police these days but this show is just taking it to several levels of ridiculousness. Apparently collaborating with known felons (who are still on probation?) and violent offenders to illegally detain and assault people in the middle of the street is perfectly okay in whatever port that is. A lawyer from the mall would be able to get Lin's entire crew off every single charge from that.

So I'm well aware that legal proceedings are literally the last thing I should pick on in SoA but can anybody think of any reason that Gemma's statement would have any effect on Lin? Unless she says that she saw Lin himself walking out of Tara's house with a bloody shirt on all she's able to say is that "I saw a person of Asian descent leave my house shortly before Tara's body was found." They can't even give the police the guy to testify that Lin gave the order, because he's dead!

The woman cop deciding not to make a statement that the Sons were doing something with a gang of neo-nazi's that killed her partner is the most loving ridiculous thing this season has done yet. FuriousxGeorge posted:Somebody needs to compare the body counts between this show and Dexter because I'm pretty sure Jax is a more prolific and less repentant serial killer. Even if his personal body count is lower he is kind of a bigger monster because at least Dexter seems to realize he SHOULD think murder is wrong. I mean, Dexter's wife was ACTUALLY killed by one of his enemies and he didn't go on a mass murdering revenge spree over it. I think you'd have to include murders done by the rest of SoA on Jax's orders as well. If talking about how you smothered a prostitute to death to a man who apparently isn't ever going to betray you over it is enough to get you marked for death then refusing to shoot people as ordered is most likely enough as well.
