The only flaw I can think RE4 has is not all of the weapons are balanced. The Mine Thrower is fun to gently caress around with but kinda useless, and I've never been a fan of the TMP. Is it even worth buying the Riot Shotgun?

I don't know that much about this but I think that the big differences are that the old PS2 collections were emulated and the current collection is a perfect reproduction But to answer your question no the old ones don't have save states
