Just your run of the mill Starfleet-issue diaper wearing cat-person crewmember.

I just spent the last five seconds groaning because this guy has tried so hard to commission my bf. One time, we really needed the money, and he did some work for him. He asked for him to change the whole sketch because of a misplaced stripe on his tiger-character's body, or something similarly banal, and was really weird about the whole thing in general. After that, bf swore off doing work for him ever again.

So, what does the guy do? He gets someone else to commission bf for a picture, then spring it on him that he wanted that character in it, too. He did the picture, because the other guy had already paid, but told him in the future to never do that again.

While we both like eating too much to swear off doing work for furries, we don't like it enough to ever work for that stupid gently caress again.

I also seem to remember the same guy drawing a picture of a geth in a diaper, but I hope it was just a nightmare.

Got the idea here for my Geth Character Cole in a diaper. So decided to try a more sketchy style pic for it.

Cole was perplexed when it first began thinking about this odd behavior. It was Geth. It had no bodily functions and was never a child in the same way an organic would think of it yet since becoming an independent being in it's own right Cole found it's thought processes dwelling on this scenario. Upon confiding these thoughts to Creator Gen it was encouraged to experiment. So it did. At first it simple put one on. Wearing the garment produced positive feedback and the Geth found itself wanting to do so more often. After a short while of wearing the garment Cole's processes began to extrapolate what it would be like to use one for it's intended purposes. So with a few modifications to it's platform it gave it a try expelling warm yellow colored fluid into the garment which produced a great degree of satisfaction.

"Wow how did you actually wet it?" Gen asked the Geth looking at the discolored diaper.

"It was a simple process of modifying my platform to produce the desired effect." Cole answered simply though with what was almost a note of cheer in it's synthesized voice.

"Cool. So do you like it?" Gen asked curiously.

"I...appreciate the aesthetics of the garment as well as the tactile stimulation from wearing it as well as it's intended use. I believe I do enjoy it but am unable to determine why. Why is this ineffecient act so desirable to perform? I do not understand." Cole said as a look of confusion crossed it's "face".

"Even some organics aren't sure why they like it. They just do." Gen explained. "But if you enjoy it why not? As long as it doesn't interfere with your job I say go for it. Take it as far as you like."

"I will take that under consideration. I have been considering prospects for a more versatile and organic looking platform. Specifically I have given thought to constructing a modified version of the Hopper platform which I could modify for maximal enjoyment." Cole stated as it ran over the blue prints in it's head.

"Really? Well if you need a hand don't be afraid to ask." Gen said patting the Geth on it's soggy bottom before walking back out of the room.

Well hope you guys liked this new lil pic style here and the lil story.

Would he be willing to expound on what it's like doing commissioned art? Are there a lot of pervs who spend ten pages sperging about how they want their pregnant furry futa Gaia Online character drawn juuuuuuust so? (and does he spend his nights hugging Mr. Noosey because of it?)

You know, I've been thinking on and off of starting an ask/tell style thread about weird commissioner stories for a while, but I'm never sure if there'd be enough of an audience for it to be successful, or if it should be in ask/tell or creative convention.

Ohhohohoho. Lordy lordy, are there ever folks who sperg about their characters for ten loving pages. The worst is when they only have text for reference, so you absolutely have to read their loving wall of words, lest you miss that freckle on "hir" inner thigh. (And yes, folks with hermaphroditic characters will often say "shi" or "hir" when referring to them.)I can't even describe the amounts of crazy I've seen on various art sites, and I've been doing commissions for a lot less time than him. If you want a bucket full of nutso, just google "chackats".

It's only sometimes that he just breaks down and is like "I went to art school, dammit!" I've seen him just switch off the computer and stare off into space before. He's actually a goon, so I'll send him this thread when he's awake tomorrow, so he can answer any questions himself.

Captain Pissweak...I don't know what to say. Not because the picture is super bad (it is) but because it's the second picture of a geth in a diaper I've seen. I don't know if it was by the same guy or not, though. The one I saw was like a line up of a geth in various clothes, then I walked away from the computer.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd love an ask/tell about that. Imma tell ya right now that it wouldn't be. So long as it's not all dicks and super special oohlookitmeeveryonlovesme snowflake bullshit, most artists don't care. Hell, I know artists that wouldn't care even if it was, because the price might be right. My roommate, for example, hates drawing pornography, but ended up doing it from time to time because $$$. I'm one of the lucky ones in that I haven't had to go so far.

What I'm saying is that, if you want something, just commission it, and don't worry. The artist is probably really thankful for your money. There's a reason for the stereotype of starving artist. (It's because it's true.)

Might give it a read, always wanted to try to see if I could make some extra money on art-commissions. I just don't think my art is good enough to charge someone for, and that I usually just make things for free anyway. Still, getting payed for drawing sounds like a good deal.
