The snail players are going to be the ugliest things deserving of salt attacks. Ether diseases were sorely lacking until this update. There is so much potential. You can now pretend to be Mushroomized. It can use some sort of parasite that counts as another body, so you can ride or join with it.

The main issue I've had with it is that late-game leveling is all about farming AP and boosting your speed, just so you can take a step in the late-game dungeons without being immediately splatted by a monster a thousand times faster than you. However, this also raises your overland travel speed to the point where it feels like nothing restocks, and you have to massively overburden yourself and run circles in the snow just to get time passing at a reasonable rate.

ride a bell for easy poo poo speed e; have a mechanics question actually. can equipped items be dropped on death? i got a char to second continent a while back but i'm terrified of vaporizing my items doing dungeons there now. i'd love to remove the mechanic entirely but there doesn't seem to be an up to date custom version that does this. https://elona.fandom.com/wiki/Death Maybe save your best items for plot quests and use an army of pets to murder for you. You generally get much better gear as you advance the plot or buy replacements. You can make your own super gear if you want much later.

The save breaking isn't that simple. 1.995 and 1.995R are save compatible with 2.0 but not each other due to a bug.

Well Ano has a sad goodbye message. "I've never mentioned it before, but part of my real life job involves disasters [claims]. The claims for a disaster don't start and end on the day itself - the aftermath can last anywhere from 6 months to 1 year afterwards depending on the scale. The amount of money that gets moved each time is in the range of 100s of millions and with that comes a proportional amount of paperwork. That deluge of paperwork in turn requires a stupendous amount of time and effort. They also don't hire more people to handle that surge every time there is a disaster, and the other facets of the job don't exactly go away either. So I've recently been doing 4-8 hours overtime and voluntarily coming into work on off days to handle the aftermath of the torrential rains in July. (Some of that overtime won't be paid for because they said they don't have the budget for it.) That wasn't going very well so I was prepared to put in even more overtime - but now we have typhoon #10 [Haishen] coming up on top of that. Overtime hell is going to get even worse, so Elona Plus development is going to have to take a backseat now. I've therefore released 2.00 before typhoon #10 hits. I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle any bug fixes or feature requests from now on. Sorry. You may want to put bug reports on the wiki instead of this blog so that other users can see them. Sometimes when I enter a dungeon floor, I get the level-up noise (but don't level up) and then on that level there will be a stack of 3 Godly items What's up with that? I worship the god that accepts rings and amulets if that helps.

Activating 7 of these triggers causes 3 Godly pieces of equipment to spawn on the piles of gold pieces in random Nefia. (Since there are multiple items, they'll appear as a bag.)

Fighting trash mobs is ineffective. Trap (oops) quests are made easier. Time that passes during quests like gardening, are tweaked so slower classes have more turns. Speed is still king. Attack spells have a slight overhaul in dice rolls.
