Those of you with FiSTs, how are the interiors holding up? Any rattles?

My '14 with almost 40k is still rattle free.

So I totaled my old car and I'm probably going to buy some car in this segment. What cars should I test drive? I guess on my list I have the Veloster Turbo, GTI, and Fiesta ST.

My criteria are basically: I want a car that's enjoyable to drive and is manual but I'm largely going to be using it for commuting, and it's going to be my only car, and I live in New England, so also I want to not wish I'd bought something else when I go to Costco or it snows a lot or whatever. Also my limit is like $30k but that's soft if something is incredible I guess.

Skip the Veloster, get a ST.

I've had my FiST for about a year and I have the itch to do some upgrades. I'm trying to decide between exhaust or an Accessport.

accessport first, exhaust second. unless you don't like another 35HP to the wheels.

35 to the wheels with just the tune? Even if I only have access to 91?

I'd still take the RS just for the 4wd of the winter.

I have Pilot Sport A/S 3s on my Fiesta. A little on the expensive side but I'm a fan.

Keep my lights on 100% of the time I am driving.

And in sad news I have to take my poor FiST into the dealer this week because the stereo and nav parts of the infotainment system decided to stop working.

It's not that heavy, but I never realized how much space was under there until you mentioned it just now :v:

That's where I plan on installing a shallow mount sub to round out the sound.

I guess I won't ever replace my FiST with another Ford. :(

How is your gas light on at that much fuel?

I put 16 inch wheels with 205/45 Firehawk Indy 500s and a Cobb RMM on my FiST yesterday. It's amazing how much better it drives.

Engine on my '14 FiST just grenaded at 65k and needs to be completely replaced. Shop said it blew the head gasket and cracked the block somehow. I only brought it in because I thought I had a coolant leak. Really glad I got suckered into the aftermarket warranty.

I'm the second owner so who knows what the first guy did. Had the car since 30xxx miles so $100 for a new engine doesn't seem so bad. I'm also not sure if the car is cursed though. It's had door latches fail while driving, an inch of water in the spare tire well, had to replace the whole infotainment system, clutch master cylinder failure, and fuel pressure sensor die.

I traded in my 2014 FiST for 500 less than I paid for it 5 years ago. So long hot hatch bros.
