I wish FIFA would add that arrow thing from PES. PES blows but you could hold down L2 (I think) and an arrow would appear and you could pass the ball in that direction. With the proper power in the pass, you could make really great lead passes, as well as the ability to pass into open space behind a player that might be behind a defender.

Just got a few matches in, I think I'm gonna like this game. Touch is a bit more difficult and using turbo leads to a lot more turnovers than before. Hitting Square then X for that cutback move is a bit more weighty, players overrun the ball a bit, which is nice. It's not just turning on a dime. Or maybe I just haven't broken this version yet. Either way Parmos is gonna own this year, highly recommended e: oh and dummying doesn't make the ball speed up through your legs and get turned over, it's actually reliable now

Ok, just texted my buddy who is a manager at the Gamestop near me, he said the deal applies to both. You do need that Power-Up Rewards card thing. You should just buy 14 then when you get PS4, find someone with a rewards card and use it to get the automatic $50 trade-in value.

Flapsy, old buddy, you're mistaken! It's actually been simplified in a lot of areas! You no longer need to hold L2 to use skill moves, it's now used to shield the ball. Also the game rewards build-up play and has drastically cut down on bullshit like L1+Triangle passes to sprinting midgets. Hell, even the AI has gone from full retard to low-average intelligence! Most people in pro clubs are just launching themselves at you as fast as they can. Be patient, make turns without using shoulder buttons, and use L2 to shield the ball. Other than that, I dunno, I started off at 80 with all the boosts I bought in the EASFC catalog, and we had a pretty good start to Parmos on PS3.
