werthog, not to exacerbate the possiblity for abuse here but it's a a public database

http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp

type in some gibberish (ex: W6OBB) or something and it should pull up a bunch of near matches and you click one and that's the data that's available freely

...and a lot of them you just have to know through study, because they are sorta trick questions?

example:

T1A05 (A) [97.1 (e)]
Which of the following is a purpose of the Amateur Radio Service rules and regulations as defined by the FCC?
A. Enhancing international goodwill
B. Providing inexpensive communication for local emergency organizations
C. Training of operators in military radio operating procedures
D. All of these choices are correct

So, answer is A. Would you have got that if you didn't know beforehand?

the point is just study the question pools on cards

here's a few more questions, and i've removed the answers in the parens until after the post, feel free to test yourself. this is from the tech pool. have a 6 question mini test. most of the questions on the test are easy as hell just saying there are gotcha ones in there or wtf? ones too.

B. At least 4
C. A trustee and 2 officers
D. At least 2

T5C04 (?)
