So depending on the game it can be either one video or multiple parts? Just wondering about it, never seen this type of thread before. Seems to be pretty fun though!
It all depends on how long the game in question is and how long you want your videos to be. It's all up to the person who makes them in the end, though.

What is the point of this thread, really? There is no rule on the forum about how much effort you need to put into your LP (I guess this is obvious because it's not like this thread could circumvent that rule). In fact, you can post almost whatever you loving want, and if people like it, they will watch it. There's nothing stopping you from posting poo poo nobody likes either, actually!
Also, specifically this
happens all the time. All of the times. So I don't even know where you're coming from with this "LP is getting too stuffy and formal, man"
Stop taking LP so seriously. Who cares. You can post about this poo poo in the Blasting Zone if you want but here it's just "Don't Give a gently caress Zone".
Let's all just chill out and make some low-effort videos and just do whatevs.
On the previous 2007 thread, I do recall not only the opening post being way more elaborate, but there being a bigger contingent of folk actually posting their first videos. (As in on the first page, there were at least some folk going on how they were gonna do videos for it and so on.)
Did you by any chance ran this idea through your friends to see if there were at least a group of folk willing to add some more lps to this? If you are trying to make a thread like that, there should be at least a slightly bigger base.
OP was more elaborate there because I am bad at writing OPs and yes I've got friends who want to create content for this lined up, I just opened it up cuz I also want other people to be able to do their poo poo as soon as they want.

So do you have other LPer lined up for the other days of the week like the first Devolution did?
I got some people lined up who want to do stuff, but this is way less organized and more of a "everybody can just post whatever/whenever they want" like the Clusterfuckathon thread was a few years back.
Awe that's a shame, so basically a dump thread for low effort videos then?
Kinda, but also sort of a thing so people who are interested in doing LPs but unsure about whether it's worth the effort can atleast try it out, ya know.
