Briscoe talk reminded me of the time he walked up to argue against palliative care because it’s evil Obamacare socialism and the guys talking just stared at him in disbelief as it became increasingly obvious he had no idea what palliative care is. They wouldn’t give him any context clues just asking him what about palliative care he is against and letting him twist in the wind until he sheepishly withdrew his objections and sat back down. It’s providing for terminally ill people to make them more comfortable instead of leaving them on the curb to suffer until the inevitable comes.
