I've heard Alienware hardware is overpriced junk, but it's the cheapest Steambox and I figure getting one of them will be better then the link since I can only ever afford computers around that price anyway so I'm not exactly armed with a lot of horsepower sticking to my laptop. How should I proceed here?

I've been having a lot of fun with Transistor but the bosses are hard as hell. The first one was so hard to dodge, it was basically luck I killed it before I ran out of attacks. I'm on the lead up to the second one(I'm assuming) and it keeps hitting me with it's loving foot/claw/whatever and I go down so fast. Aghhhh. I want to get to the end of this game so bad.

I hate difficult games, but the fact that death was a slap on the wrist and the fast-paced gameplay made me love 1. 2, on the other hand, is a humongous slog because the levels are way too big and the FOV is way too zoomed in so enemies can just cheapshot off you screen and that's going to happen a lot because they are a lot of gunmen so you got to take it really slow and scout ahead all the time. So the only way to do anything is hope that you can grab a gun and funnel enemies through doorways. I still haven't actually got the money to spend, but this post makes me happier with my decision to get Strider instead.

I was thinking about getting Blade Kitten, but it just looks so unfun. It reminds me of the video game version of a Tokyopop OEL manga. "Jump, ocasionally wack someone who can hardly hit you with a sword, jump, listen to dialogue that sounds like it came from a show aimed at ten year old girls, jump".
