You want to know why it went unchanged for so long? Because the people who complained about it kept accusing Clef of being a pedophile. He knew that wasn't actually the case, so 1) he didn't really take it seriously as criticism, and 2) it pissed him off and made him want to keep it as is out of spite. When I actually explained to him why it was lovely to rape for cheap horror, he understood and took out the line in question. I mean, it's fine not to like the article. If you think it's still too gratuitous, or it's heavy-handed, that's fine. But accusing Clef of being a kid fucker is pretty lovely.

Seems to me, since it took 2 months for the thing to start pooping again after being sealed, you just seal them all up, shove them in the rocket, and launch them towards the sun. Two months to get them onto the rocket and launched from time of sealing. Not a difficult time table.

I proposed that in SCP chat a few years before the other person wrote it up, and at the time the staff guys thought it was a bad idea and told me not to bother.
