I think Season 6 was a vast improvement over the two seasons before it, and I still think that Archer Vice was necessary to get the series back on track, since Season 4 felt like the show was starting to run on fumes. If they didn't spend so much time doing callbacks and repeating jokes, Archer Vice would have been looked at much more fondly. Nothing in the last three seasons compares to the best episodes and moments of Seasons 2 and 3, though. Then again, when you set the bar that high on such a consistent basis, you're bound to let people down at some point.
