If you're talking Oakland, that is somewhat better. But still, poo poo, and getting worse thanks to the bazillionaires and Saude/Russian investment groups buying up all the rental properties with cold hard cash forcing everyone interesting - and not tech rich - away. I bailed on that noise and will never look back.
