Very disappointed by England's non-failure.

Let's all take a moment to process the fact that Gareth Batty took 8 wickets in Warwickshire's second innings, only to then see Jeetan Patel take 8 wickets in Surrey's second innings to win the game.
Also, Simon Harmer took 8 wickets.

In May.

Switched channels to the cricket, immediately hear Mark Nicholls awkwardly talking about "that stage where boys turn to men" as there's a stylised video montage of little boys in the crowd.

The importance of this mission cannot be overemphasized
I love it when sportspeople talk about 'respect' from fans. You play a game for a living and yes you are really good at it and work really hard, but really who gives a poo poo at the end of the day? It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I can boo whoever I want.

Especially dickhead Australians.

I bet Langer was exactly this concerned about ~respecting the players~ when the Aussies were booing the poo poo out of Broad

Mate that’s different because Broad first crossed the line and second doesn’t like pineapple on his pizza.

I've got a pocket full of cheese🧀, and a garden full of trees🌴.

The Aussies whinging about "don't boo our brave boys" reeks, as it always has done of hypocrisy. i.e. It's OK for us to sledge and swear and say anything, (that doesn't cross the imaginary "line), to an opponent, especially one who is down. But to have a crowd voice their displeasure, thats mean and disrespectful.

On an unrelated note: I am heading into Seoul this afternoon, on the night of the Champions League Final, to try and get a bar to play the Aus. vs Afghanistan game instead. If I can find a bar that is actually showing the cricket that is.

(My second option is to try and find a bar that is showing the Brisbane vs Hawthorn AFL game, but that will be just as difficult.)
