This is an accurate replica of my experience with this level the other day, yeah. I like that Ice Climber is so bad one level in Remix is just, 'try to play this poo poo straight through, I loving dare you.'

the clouds are real frustrating cuz theres no smooth pattern to them, you never feel like... this is a perfect run theres always a bit of waiting for them to line up

ice climbers has extreamely good jump physics where if you press a direction and jump at the same time you will jump too far. and if you press a direction after a jump you will barely move and also clip through platforms

Right now I'm playing the Collect 44 Super Mushroom bonus stage and it's also a lot of patience and trial and error sort of but, SMB is awesome, and Ice Climber is pure rear end.

I think the worst thing about Ice Climber in NES Remix, same with Clu Clu Land actually is that the timing is so tight on it for rainbow stars but a lot of the other games it gives a lot of leeway and it's irritating that they chose the few worst possible kinds of games to require you to really go the distance for the rainbows.

I went to lovely diner the other day for breakfast and they had an old Arcade Machine with Pac man and Mr.s Pacman and Galaga on it and right next to it was another old rear end arcade machine with Super Mario bros. I never saw a SMB arcade machine before, it did not look custom.
