Seems to me that the Mechanicus might be a good option if we can ditch/corrupt the escort. Quick rundown: A. The Merchant Guilds High cost, low risk B. Merchant Guilder ship +escort? Extremely high cost, High risk? C. The Ordo Xenos Low cost, High risk of meddling + Mindfuck D. Enlisting another Dynasty High cost in political status , !Unknown risk! E. The Adeptus Mechanicus Low cost, High risk of meddling + "Archeotech? Give me that!"
