How much do you spend annually on transportation (cab, bus, train-fare/payments/insurance/fuel)? $14,400/year on payments (doubling them to pay it off faster), $1200/year into the maintenance fund, $1200/year on gas, $1500/year on insurance (thanks Memphis!) 7. How much do you spend annually on maintenance for your vehicle? i set aside $100/month for maintenance, though I haven't needed it for awhile (balance is at $1000) 8. How far is your commute to work? 60 miles round trip 9. If you do not use public transportation - explain why you do not Memphis doesn't have public transportation; even our downtown trolleys got shut down for constantly catching on fire 10.
