I played this game a little past the first boss while bloodborne patch was downloading and it seems cool. The menu options when you first load up the game are "START" "OPTIONS" "SPEEDRUN"

From what I saw it really starts differentiating itself from Metroid as you go, like the movement options are very unique and kinda cool.

pc version coming soon guys until then take my word for it that its very very good because it is. its not a metroid clone it goes out of its way to be different while still feeling and looking the same and it has a whole mechanic based on sprite flicker.

i'm playing it now. it's really good. it is open ended like metroid is but the abilities you get are a lot different. there's a nice variety of weapons too.
