 Splatoon is a 3rd person FPS coming out for the WiiU on May 29th in the US. In it, you control squid/human hybrid kids called inklings and shoot ink all over the place to cover as much territory as possible. You can shift between human form to fight and squid form to duck into the ink and swim around for extra speed. You can also dress up your Inklings with different clothes and accessories that give you stat boosts of sorts. But mostly it's fashion. There's also Amiibos coming if you care about those!  The official site was just recently launched, and I also recommend checking out this blog where they've been posting a myriad of art and information about the game and its characters. The art direction in this game is excellent, by the way. I'm real jazzed up to play this game and I don't even own a WiiU. The countdown is at less than two months.
