I still can't believe some people still prefer ComputerCraft. The lack of Unicode box drawing characters to use, among other things, are why I prefer OpenComputers -- but the admins decided that CC was the "better" choice.

Anyone know how to fix a "java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:" error? I've configured my firewall to allow Java and it still gives me this error. The error does not occur on Vanilla Minecraft.

Sigh... There's a private server that's taking mod suggestions and one of the suggestions I made was to include OpenComputers... but they went with ComputerCraft instead. I need bullet points to tell the modpack collectors that they were so loving wrong.

I wonder why people continue to give GregTech any focus seeing as it's --as I understand it-- some whiny brat's way of making sure no one else can make any progress on his server.

I'm running (or trying to) run Minecraft on a AMD A8-3800 APU, and it's struggling to reach double digit FPS. Is Optifine to blame or do I need to get a new video card, or is there some other problem I should look at?

I'm trying to connect to a server, but I keep getting load of these errors in my logs, and then I'm forcibly disconnected...

Additionally, if you don't like the overhead and annoyances of the Twitch launcher, MultiMC is able to make instances from zips downloaded from curseforge. Only drawback is you must update instances manually.

Yes, the Fabric/Forge split, knowing that it's impossible to run both at the same time.
