She's talking negatively about someone's case with a light nod towards that player being scum without even voting the player. It's exactly the light, no culpability thing you see from weaker scum.

Keane, LUTR is scum. I am putting my Merk stamp on this case. Go forward with your plan.

Also, it doesn't matter whether someone is "right" in making a case. It's all about intent behind content, not accuracy or agreeability. This is the most common SA Mafia town mistake. LUTR made a forward positioning statement without an attempt to actually advance present discussion. Look at the intent, not whether you agree with what was said.

It "didn't gain any traction?" There have been less than ten posts since that one. I'm not backing down. I'm trying to figure out what you're doing. I re-assess my reads as the game goes. I would like more from you so I can try to do that. What are you doing this game?

CapitalistPig posted:Basically you are calling her out on what you say is a "scum move" as if its some sort of tell all scum move in the game when I've done similar things as town. It's day 1. It's an exceptional day 1 case. If this was lylo and I'm literally casing someone off of a single sentence in their first content-based post in the game, I'd be right there with you casting some shade (potentially). Also, how does that not make sense? What part of the case doesn't make sense?

It helps us out 0% to come in and just poo poo on stuff. Advocate for what you believe in. Convince others to vote with you. Create a case that people follow or, at least, generates discussion.

Somberbrero posted:Moving votes off LUTR is a step towards moving them onto GG, who is a strong second. Moving a lunch off someone I think is town is pretty obviously beneficial. Coming in and making GBS threads does not move votes off of LUTR. If you don't advocate for a better alternative, you don't influence anyone to do anything.
