I'm curious: What's a good DPI for a scanner?

Pretty much every flatbed scanner offers the same DPI. The important thing is what option you select which should be minimum 300 for book quality, ideally 600 for archiving IMO.

given most of the flatbed scanners I'm looking at (300 x 600 seems to be the lowest one I've seen and most are in the 1000's) I think I'll be safe in that regard no matter what I get

what are some good ink pens for comics? Should I get nib or fountain or brush? I'm looking for a least one that could get nice thick lines (along with the obvious thinner ones for thinner lines).

I think I'll participate: I'll aim for 20 pages penciled and inked (and spend the first few days writing and thumbnailing)

just need a good idea...

Yeah, stop putting effort into practical methods to promote your anthology and instead wait for an unprecedented shift in the status quo driven entirely by a service yet not conceived.

maybe we should do both

okay so my computer's no longer recognizing tablet pressure sensitivity. I've got an intuos tablet and use Medibang Paint Pro for art. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers but that didn't work. any help?

Close the program you're drawing in, go into Services, stop Tablet PC Input Service and Wacom Professional Service, then start both of them again, and then re-open the program you were drawing in.

nope, didn't work
