yeah but seriously I just had to reseat all my RAM chips

I've had this happen before, my computer will be slow ish but not really slow enough to bother me? for a while. then I'll randomly check system properties and find out it has 8gb "installed" but 4gb "usable." shutting down and reseating the ram chips a few times will fix it. I've had it happen with multiple mother boards and different brands of ram

what the gently caress is up with that

removing the ability to change the amount of ram in the computer without buying a new one

there are pros and cons, some of is consider the mild inconvenience worth it . we consider our time "worthless", whereas apple people get paid for browse imgur and reddit

you probably have lovely overpriced gamer ram sticks that have 2 lbs of heatsink on each one, maybe stop buying that garbage and, even better, buy a mac

my mac came with 8gb of memory but i put in 16 more so now it has 24.

if i want i can janitor it further and take out hte 8 and put in another 16 and have 32, but that seems excessive.

sorry for whatever this thread is about tho

I had 24 for a bit but it was unmatched and unecessary so I took out te 2x4, left the 2x8 and now I have 16 and doubt my ram is my

shit wizard dad

I would like to click here to download a computer that doesn't crash all the goddamn time. With Win7 I'd forgotten what a BSOD looked like, but Win8.1 is just loving to show me that :( face.

Somewhere between the last Geforce driver update and the last few Windows updates, something has come seriously unglued - hello not being able to play a game or watch a movie for more than about 20mins without a CTD at best or a BSOD.

I swear, its almost enough to make you go and buy a console
