As a Millennial I posted:the way i look at mgs story poo poo: kojima has specific scenes that he wants to see, then tries to write a story around those i appreciate the mugs story stuff because it allows for crazy poo poo like 'language' to be a theme in a triple A video game, which is insane when you consider most games of that scale are stamped out like factory products on a yearly basis (e.g. assassins creed, madden) also the patriot codec monologue about the electronic proliferation of useless information in the last part of mgs 2 was legitimately one of the most eerily accurate predictions I've ever encountered. he commented in 2001 something that society is just starting to grapple with today
