Re-upped for LSL and HHL. This is gonna be hell. HHL keeper cost is last year plus 20% right? And FA's last year are $1 -> $2?

I think I actually did for somebody, I don't remember who, though. Tarasenko for $30 -> $36 is gonna be great.

While I remember, my keepers (for Fowler? Just Met Her!): Vlad Tarasenko: $30 -> $36 Sami Vatanen: $1 -> $2 Mark Stone: $1 -> $2 Jori Lehtera: $5 -> $6

My team is really top heavy and is otherwise a disaster. 1. (2) Sidney Crosby (Pit - C) $121 2. (13) Tyler Seguin (Dal - C,RW) $124 3. (31) Nathan MacKinnon (Col - C,RW) $62 4. (54) Jaroslav Halak (NYI - G) $52 5. (60) Keith Yandle (NYR - D) $41 6. (102) Jonathan Huberdeau (Fla - C,LW) $30 7. (105) Cam Ward (Car - G) $1 8. (137) Eddie Lack (Car - G) $13 9. (146) Andrej Sekera (Edm - D) $2 10. (166) Reilly Smith (Fla - LW,RW) $1 11. (167) Antoine Vermette (Ari - C,LW) $2 12. (179) Frans Nielsen (NYI - C) $1 13. (191) Travis Hamonic (NYI - D) $1 14. (202) David Savard (Cls - D) $1 15. (245) Jori Lehtera (K) (StL - C) $6 16. (246) Mark Stone (K) (Ott - RW) $2 17. (247) Sami Vatanen (K) (Anh - D) $2 18. (248) Vladimir Tarasenko (K) (StL - RW) $36 Sekera and Reilly Smith are probably going to go, I don't know for who yet.

loving LSL man. This goalie mania is insane. I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with Jake Allen, Thomas Greiss, and Keith Kinkaid as my goalies. Gonna have to snatch up every prospect that gets called up.

(92) Oliver Ekman-Larsson (Ari - D) 6. (109) Jaden Schwartz (StL - LW) 7. (132) Dougie Hamilton (Cgy - D) 8. (149) Mark Scheifele (Wpg - C) 9. (172) Ryan Strome (NYI - C) 10. (189) Kevin Hayes (NYR - RW) 11. (212) Nick Bonino (Pit - C) 12. (229) Carl Soderberg (Col - C,LW) 13. (252) Thomas Greiss (NYI - G) 14. (269) Cam Fowler (Anh - D) 15. (292) Keith Kinkaid (NJ - G) 16. (309) Michael Del Zotto (Phi - D) 17. (332) Clarke MacArthur (Ott - LW) 18. (349) Scott Laughton (Phi - C) 19. (372) Ryan Spooner (Bos - C,LW) 20. (389) Christopher Tanev (Van - D) 21. (412) Derek Dorsett (Van - RW) 22. (429) Leo Komarov (Tor - C) 23. (452) Reto Berra (Col - G) It might have been better if I hadn't gotten swiped on Brian Elliott in the fifth; Jake Allen and three backups does not a winner make. I'm quite happy with the defense and surprisingly OK with the forwards though.

I accidentally benched Reto loving Berra in the LSL, and he got a 35 save shutout. Pretty sure I'd be winning 11-1 this week if not for that.

gently caress, a $50 price. I did not expect him to go that high. That seems to be a this season move only, I very much doubt he's worth keeping at $60.

I still can't figure out what the gently caress to do with Ryan Strome. If I drop him in LSL I'm never getting him back and I don't want to waste the roster spot. Also, Jake Allen and Reto Berra have turned my goaltending from a nightmare into something respectable. Good work guys.

Why do all my terrible LSL teams end up near the top of the standings? This is going to end up like the last three seasons where I get a high seed in the playoffs then lose two out of three matchups.

I don't even know how I'm going to make the three start minimum with Greiss not getting all the starts now that Halak is healthy.

As the owner of the team that isn't going to make the playoffs with both Seguin and Crosby (and Tarasenko, though I'm keeping him) I would probably be interested in selling one of them. Considering I've got potentially solid keepers in Huberdeau at $30, Tarasenko at $36, probably Mark Stone at $2, and possibly Nathan Mackinnon at $62 (e: or Duclair at $1), I'm not sure whether I'd want to keep anyone else, though. mentholmoose fucked around with this message at 02:26 on Feb 17, 2016 |

Good news for my LSL team, once Jake Allen got healthy Brian Elliott exploded removing his only obstacle to playing time. Him and Joonas Korpisalo are going to carry me to a championship!

I've still got Seguin and Crosby both available if somebody blows me away with an offer. I'm not sure there's a deal to be done though since trading them would definitely ruin any small chance I've got at the playoffs.

Alright, I need HHL trade advice. I'm leaning towards accepting but I'd like a second opinion. I'm at the point where I'm definitely selling for next season. I would give up: Sidney Crosby: $121 -> $146 Nathan Mackinnon: $62 -> $75 And get in return from Veskit: Ryan O'Reilly: $42 -> $51 Brad Marchand: $21 -> $26 Both O'Reilly and Marchand were drafted this year, and I very much doubt I would keep Crosby or Mackinnon. My other two keepers would likely be Tarasenko ($36 -> $44) and Mark Stone ($2 -> $3).

Jamwad Hilder posted:I'm fine with the rule being that a player can only be kept (ie, not eligible for the draft) 3 years in a row regardless of how many teams own them over that time span if that's what the majority of the league wants. I think that's what I'd prefer, because certain players would never re-enter the draft otherwise.

T-Bone posted:Yeah so the problem with manually adding/dropping Stastny/Carter as that it's going to gently caress Anton Strawman out of a roster spot for a few days while he waits to add him back. What do you guys want to do? Just my two cents since I don't own Anton Strawman, but it's worth noting that they've already clinched a playoff spot and there's not a big chance they're going to face anyone other than Eichel and Dimed in the first round; if he's OK with it I doubt not having that roster spot for a couple days will really affect anything. e: On the other hand it could help Strawman's opponent this week, Veskit's team, clinch the number one seed, since they're only one point ahead of As Gudas It Gets.

T-Bone posted:Also, lol I didn't see Keith Kinkaid in the recent waiver pickups in the LSL and got all excited to pick him up but then slowly realized in horror that someone had been carrying him since February 15th. I can't believe I drafted Kinkaid in the 15th round, then dropped him before Schneider exploded. I guess it's not that important since I'm not hurting for goaltending anymore. I'm in this weird position where I'm basically getting a bye week this week; I've already clinched the Canada division championship and the #2 seed, but I'm so far behind the #1 team that I can't possibly catch up in one week.

I would figure, if there's any reason not to give Crosby to whoever picked him up, it would be because the season was already over. Other than that, I don't really see any issue with it.
