Who isn't looking forward to a President who the Republicans hate even more than Obama? e: also 8 more years of very serious people talking about Bill's penis on the nightly news. Hodgepodge has issued a correction as of 05:50 on Sep 23, 2015 |

As a millennial i am so happy she supports the gays now! Her plan to sorta kinda control college costs is REVOLITIONARY!! I'm okay with still paying a few grand a year, hilary has got my back. She only wants me to pay 250 dollars for my mediation a month! Wow I can't wait to devote 2/3rds of my student stipend for drugs that keep me senile! I'd give to her campaign if i had any disposable income not dedicated to loan interest payments!! Yaaaaas Hilary ! Your are girl!

I really recommend a read through of Game Change you're interested into getting insight into the mind of Hillary Clinton and Clintonworld. She's fiercely loyal to Bill, but he really hosed her over numerous times in '08. He was a huge liability for her, and there's a real vulnerable moment towards the end where she admits to Mark Penn that she simply can't control Bill. He's like this force of nature that she has to try and corral like a bucking bronco. The Game Change movie focused on just the Palin stuff for obvious reasons, but to me the heart of the story belonged to the Clintons. The t-shirt I posted shows that she learned all the wrong lessons too, which is sad. For those of you who are gossips with no shame, this is the woman Bill was seeing: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belinda_Stronach

Not that I've found in my extensive research (i.e. the first page of google results for "Bill Cliton affair 2008"). So, it just comes down to whether you believe Halperin and Heilemann. I personally choose to; their methodology is interesting and seems sound, and no one has sued them for libel. Steve Schmidt called watching the film version (where much of the dialogue is taken verbatim from the book) an "out of body experience." It seems to sync with the reality we saw from our side of the fence. But most importantly I want to believe their stories. I want to believe that Rick Perry was wacked out on pain killers and insomnia during the Oops debate. I want to believe that some of John Edward's staffers were conspiring to leak news of his affair in the event that it looked like he might win the nomination out of loyalty to the party, since it would of destroyed him in the general. I want to believe that Mitt Romney constantly made fun of Christie's weight and gave him the code name "pufferfish" during his VP vetting. I want to believe that Stuart Stevens, one of Romney's top strategists, was so horrified during the Clint Eastwood empty chair Dadaist masterpiece that he ran out of the room and threw up in a trash can. I cannot wait for the book they write about this election. It'll probably be the greatest story ever told.

Just dropping in to share my condolences friends. I know what it's like to have to support a cold, robotic, uninspiring, candidate with zero charisma who struggles greatly just to make cringe-worthy attempts to appear human and relatable. Good luck and Godspeed Hillary supporters.

In reality there's nothing wrong with being a stern and very serious person, especially if you're someone that is going to be the chief executive of the US. But in the Donald Trump era we expect our leaders to be able to politik AND to sing and dance for our amusement. It is kind of fun to see these old people debase themselves with memes they don't understand.

It's odd for me as well, but I think the disconnect is that while many could easily accept a serious person, Hilary seems to lack inspiration or decisiveness in her exposition and platform. Thus she unfairly sounds hollow in speech and her aides best advice is "make jokes", jfc. Shes not a carnival barker or an empty suit, and if she has strong opinions she should voice them instead. I would honest to god vote for Hillary as God Empress if she was ruled with an iron fist and promised to crush the puny racists and that Sherman was good, and correct and The March to the Sea should be a national holiday. Just any strong, good stance will do.

Yeah, that's something I hadn't considered. Republicans have spent the last quarter of a century just making GBS threads on her, her daughter, everything about her. So voting in someone who likely hates Republicans as much as I do will be good. She comes off as someone who probably digs getting revenge so a Hildawg presidency will be good when she like, goes to her inauguration wearing Ken Starr's pelt
