The new ship was specifically developed for SQ42 and has never been seen or mentioned before. It is not one of the stretch goal ships. If Derek really knows something he will confirm this information.

The Prowler was known before this. Supposedly the ship being revealed is completely new. My guess is the new corvette after the Idris became a frigate.
