To be fair, the general party lines of our moderate-right parties are quite in line with middle-of-the-road Democrats in the US. Even the far right parties usually want to keep large parts of the welfare state intact, they just want to exclude non-whites from it. People with USA Republican views are exceedingly rare here.
As an American I'm confused. You seem to be saying political beliefs are some kind of spectrum or something. It's not all black and white, liberal vs conservative, Democrat vs Republicans, us vs them??

What? It's saying it would go to Daylight Saving Time, and never return to Standard.

I'm wondering how many people went "hmm there is more sun when it is Daylight Saving Time, therefore it should always be Daylight Saving Time! We will get more sun in the Winter!"
