I'm not going to try to pretend like I care about Octopode's lovely posts any more than that, and especially not going to pretend like my statements about how bad they are make any difference weighed against him actually ceasing to make the posts. That said, as a functioning human being, I can at least ask him to stop and hope he does so. Shut up Octopode.

So once this all finally collapses, what's Chris going to be doing? Some people were saying that he could use those mocap studios, but Star Citizen is just going to be more proof that you can't give the guy any money or authority without spelling the doom of your project. Is it all just going to be small vanity film projects for Sandi, or is he going to try another video game scam?

So given all the red flags that CIG have been eagerly waving at backers who have completely ignored them, an interesting question is raised: What would CIG have to do to get the backers to turn against them, and not just just doublethink it away as being part of the original plan/good for the game/inspired game design? Cancel interstellar travel? Murder one of the whales? Remove birds from the game?

I want to see one of the turbowhales order something at McDonalds. "I bought two burgers, and I paid $2,000 for them to show my support to the organisation! So far I've only been given one of the burgers, and it doesn't have any meat or any other fillings. This is normal, however, and if you knew anything about food production, you would know that things change during the development process. Personally, I am extremely impressed with McDonalds' progress so far! Some people might tell you that this is unacceptable, and that I should have had both of my burgers by now, but those people are in league with the evil Burger King! In fact, I'm going to go on twitter and tell the Burger King to kill himself or die of cancer, brb"
