I love the "expected result" section of CIG bug reports so much. Any other developer would just have you explain how to recreate the glitch but no. CIG needs to be repeatedly told how solid walls are supposed to work.

I like that their supposedly amazing check out the alpha now!!! footage is a guy standing in the back of a moving ship while NOT MOVING AT ALL, not even moving their mouse cursor likely because any move could mean he falls through the floor of the ship.

The one thing I will give Star Citizen is that the scope of that sniper rifle looks pretty cool. I love real time stuff like that

He's not to blame, not really. Developers had been trying to get the FMV poo poo pushed through since the mid-late 80s. It just took until the early 90s before companies were dumb enough to try it.

For example, I believe Night Trap was recorded about 5 years before it was actually published.

Everyone has a different idea, that's why anything that's an everything simulator either fails or develops actual limits to work in. I still say X3 is the only good sim, either Terran Conflict or Albion Prelude. It has a super steep learning curve, but you can actually get capital ships, you can actually be a pirate, you can actually make a space faction. With some mods you can make a space country and it is amazing. I'm pretty sure that a game like this has to be single player, it's not like every person can be a space king in multiplayer.

Which is weird because that sounds exactly like Dwarf Fortress and that's a baller game

Man I really need to play X3 again. It really was the best space sim.

Did they ever come out with a better way to install mods? I remember it being super annoying. What about cool modpacks so i do't have to sort through 8 years of poo poo
