Also please don't say WEC has "great cars and drivers" when it includes Mark Webber.

Both WEC and WRC currently suffer from bubble dome syndrome. The cars look uninspiring and I couldn't care less about them. Wasn't there a period of time where the top level of WEC/whatever it was named required you to homologate cars?

There was the GT1 period but the homologation rules were a complete joke.

Best example of this: There was a rule that the GT-based cars needed to have enough storage space to store a suitcase. Mercedes put a small hole in an unused area of the chassis, while Toyota successfully claimed that you could store a suitcase in the gas tank.

This will surely not matter to the Red Bull-drinkers who fantasize about Red Bull making a breakaway F1 series about REAL racing and bringing back the 1980s.

We all hate McLaren, and we can make them go bankrupt by the power of negative thinking. Just imagine McLaren shutting their doors forever and Ron Dennis becoming a recluse. I'm imagining it.

I don't care either. Stop being the guy who tries to tell people that there's no rational reason for them to hate your favorite sports team or hope that they fail. It's sport. Being a fan isn't about rationality.

Wow, I can't believe you would say something as ignorant as "I hope United get relegated." It is highly unlikely that an organization with the resources of Manchester United will ever be relegated, barring some sort of financial collapse. What is this fuckshittery?

Please don't lump me with LC, I'm not posting Autosport articles and trying to interpret them into news about how McLaren are done for sure. I just really hope they fail, for the crime of wasting Jenson Button's time.

i'll be honest, 1998-2000 are the ugliest era of F1 cars ever IMO. these weirdly tall, narrow, blocky things that have absolutely no grace to them. Like jeez.

I don't get it, the noses in those eras were all wrong.

Schumacher was ridiculous in '97, especially in the wet races at Monaco and Spa, where it was like he was on a completely different planet from everyone else. He even spins off at Monaco on his way to winning by a minute, like he was just having fun or something.

I wish Ferrari still had their bright yellow pit shirts. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

also honestly I've thought all Ferrari merchandise since they switched to that big blocky faux-Marlboro logo has been ugly

That's because red bull did what they do and bought out something old with heritage, stuck their name on the side and are now claiming it as their own. /twitches It's the god drat Österreichring/A1-Ring which has hosted races from 1970-2003 ffs.

Yeah they bought out the heritage of the A1-Ring, which was named after a telephone company
