Turians, though very by-the-book, work from a very different book indeed.

Ash, since her time is short. Kaidan can come too.

Halloween Jack posted:Good as in interesting, or good as in a decent human being? Because I'm pretty sure Zaeed's a psychopath. But, if he should just happen to break onto my ship and murder Kaidan and steal his room, though, I'm not in a position to turn down any help I can get. Good as in a consistent fan-favorite I suppose. We joke about Tali's sweat but let's not forget Kaidan has the brow that launched a million glistening posts too. I think Miranda managed to be *almost* universally reviled and Jason universally forgotten (on average anyway, I'm sure they have fans somewhere). Even James had issues coming in as the new guy. Face it guys, humans blow except for honorary protheans and spooky kleptomaniacs.

SubponticatePoster posted:It's totally possible to do non-romance runs, I've done them on both FemShep and ManShep. Part of the problem is that unlike DA2 & DAI there isn't a clear romance/flirt option so probably what happened with Ash is you progressed her too far into romance (probably by nothing more than being nice) Earlier Bioware games were bad about this. In DAO I got treated to a terrific cut-scene of my PC loving Zevran because I had good approval and I misread his proposition question re: my comfort with his bisexuality. No Zevran I'm not that okay with it DeusExMachinima posted:Orbital bombardment is the bane of space opera. 40k does it all the time (ludicrously so), the trick is inventing dumb reasons to not kill this planet from orbit.

I imagine this one, when all was said and done, was easier to edit together than Dragon Age Inquisition That being said great job there, I feel like you trimmed the fat juuuuust enough for a tight LP.

All and all it's just an awkward way of framing a possible romantic partner's age and maturity since the game stresses that difference. It's like Bioware was doing its own take on the preteen-looking girls who're actually thousand year old witches so it's totally okay except that Liara may also have a degree of mental immaturity for her species too. However it makes a smidgen of sense in that a lot of the actual gamers would be pretty young themselves, 14-21-ish, even though the PC is 30, so doing mental gymnastics to invent an pseudo-18 year old LI isn't wholly a creepy endeavor.
