DUNK A DILL PICKLE REALDO
i am trying to think of books to give for christmas, but generally i don't like to give books i haven't read because i feel that giving a book is an implicit recommendation, and how can i in good conscience recommend a book without reading it?

but i can't remember all the books i've read! i think it's probably around several hundred by now, perhaps over a thousand, mostly fiction, some sci fi in there, some "Literature," and then philosophy stuff. world lit as well as "western."

so pleasE! help me remember allt eh books i've ever read, so i can pick which ones to give this year!

Television is the retina
of the mind's eye.
I'll start you off. If you are American, you probably read (in no particular order) a number of the following:
  • Red Badge of Courage
  • To Kill a Mockingbird
  • The Scarlet Letter
  • Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
  • Macbeth
  • Romeo and Juliet
  • The Grapes of Wrath
  • The Great Gatsby
