Considering the level of parodyverse we are already operating on I would not be surprised if a burgeoning tech industry "inventing" communism the same way Elon Must "invented" the idea of moving people in underground tunnels and Lyft "invented" the idea of moving groups of people togeather in a single vehicle on a fixed schedule

I mean you could probably sell a brand "new" ideology called "communally activated" which "disrupts" preexisting markets with an intention of "enabling the consumer" to "disrupt the means of production"

the issue with anti-imperialism is you aren't going to win power in the united states by focusing on it, and unless you control the U.S. government you aren't going to be able to stop it

One could argue without the USSR to act as a boogeyman capital in the west no longer has something to point at and scare people away from leftism which is why younger generations are starting to really demand alternatives to capitalism. Looking at the USSR's failures/successes to learn from is good but any successor would be radically different simply due to modern communications. The next lenin will be reaching a much wider audience.

Man this opens up an entire can of worms now that I think about it. Would the Soviet Union have it's own MMO servers (like china)? Or would they be on the same servers as Europe?

when my dad visited albania as part of a diplomatic delegation the government showed off where they kept the planes were these giant natural caves....which were so damp they ruined all the electronics in their jets. The one they got working caught on fire shortly after starting. Iv always wanted to visit after growing up on those stories of what it was like.

We do have heaps of mostly automated factories that can produce stuff at a high level of quality very few other countries can. It's not like we wouldn't be able to still export stuff to import other stuff under a socialist system.

quote:Democratic socialists are either proletarians who are not yet sufficiently clear about the conditions of the liberation of their class, or they are representatives of the petty bourgeoisie, a class which, prior to the achievement of democracy and the socialist measures to which it gives rise, has many interests in common with the proletariat. It follows that, in moments of action, the communists will have to come to an understanding with these democratic socialists, and in general to follow as far as possible a common policy with them – provided that these socialists do not enter into the service of the ruling bourgeoisie and attack the communists. It is clear that this form of co-operation in action does not exclude the discussion of differences. this is one of those things that when you come across you can actually feel the rotation of the flat circle time exists on
