Pouliot when he has confidence is pretty smooth. I don't know what the gently caress went on with him in training camp but he's capable of playing like this all the time and I hope he does. Really helps us.

Classic perron, getting tangled up with somebody stuck on the opposite side of the rink as the play

They've got 8 mill for Lindholm/Vatanen so even with the projected $73 million possible cap it'd be nearly impossible without moving out an actual asset.

They could move Stoner as well, altho they gotta sign Rakell as well who could rightfully ask for like 4 mil.... this is gonna be a big off season for the Ducks. I like how Perron fits into the team but it's probably impossible. There's been so rumors the team is gonna move Vatanen for a more cost controlled forward, but who knows.

Crosby. Also Fowler related. Also this is maybe why you want to move Fowler while people think he's valuable and sign Vatanen and Lindholm.

I know his advanced stats are bad, I just don't think that they tell the entire story in this case specifically. He plays much, much harder minutes than sami. Also trading Lindholm is just impossible. I'd rather see anyone else go lmao. You don't move a player like Lindholm

But, having watched the Pens be down to awful bottoms 6s before the current crop are doing enough to not to cost the Pens games and have chipped in tonight. Not that it should be expected to continue, however it is nice to see them not just grinding out Ws, but actually playing some nice hockey throughout

Also obviously the team is much much better since the coaching change but I'm a long way from prepared to give Sullivan credit for being an amazing coach. Johnston was completely overmatched and his junior league system was retarded beyond description and ANY coach who's vaguely familiar with the NHL was bound to get dramatic improvement over that. Sullivan does get credit for at least staying out of the way and letting them play NHL hockey.
