The Heroes Three were collectively assembled for the fight, Killertunes was nowhere seen, slipping quickly from our sight. Isaia said, "Be filled with dread! Your bones we seek this night!" The stars shined on high as the battle drew nigh and the forums fled in fright. GBS as one confessed, and Isaia's wrath hit with force, Their bones were spilled as Isaia's will let the spell run it's course. The next to flee was FYAD with bones showering their flight, Games would flee and next D&D took off well into the night. Planet Idiot went to PYF and posted their fave finishing move, From the shadows crept killertunes, getting into the groove. Ask/Tell became a ossius hell, ask me anything and I'll say- Many butts were turned to bone, on that fateful day! Isaia held forth his bony hand, and there was a thunderclap, CPUs were suddenly strewn in Serious Hardware/Software Crap! IYG and SAS and YLLS were next, as Isaia flexed his ossious hex- Something Offal soon turned Goons with spoons into calcified nervous wrecks! Clavicles and humerii and mandibles would fly, Crankshafts and engines were turned into bone in what was once AI Pet Island was spared, and well they fared from a calcium fate The bonestorm moved on to TFR and still would not abate! TCC was next to be the target of the treacherous three (plus one) Bongs became bones and tantrums were thrown before the fight was done. The other forums without decorum soon too were crushed to bone, RNG and the rest of the three now faced one that stood alone. Isaia said, his voice filled with dread, "this place is fraught with danger!" They stood outside where threads had died, the Comedy Gas Chamber "This place resists the eldritch mists of my mighty spell," he said, "There's no need to fear this place if you choose to write a new thread." States vary, the east coast states have greater restrictions and tighter controls than the ones you'd find out west. In Delaware, where I am- the requirements are tougher and there is an application process that includes a criminal background check and having a history clear of any drug offenses. Qualifying conditions are pretty restrictive, with chronic pain and terminal illness being some of the top contenders, and supporting proof of the condition(s) needs to be presented and clearly stated as well. Delaware also requires one to have a 6-month relationship with a doctor, but one loophole around that is a company called Cannacare Docs who, for a $200 fee- will have a doctor licensed by my state recommend medical marijuana to treat my qualifying condition. My personal physician refused to discuss the matter with me, laughing the whole thing off like it was a joke for 4 years. I've been self-medicating since my separation from active duty in 1994 for lower back pain and migraines, there was no doubt in my mind MMJ was what I needed. Prescription pain killers worked initially, until I started having an allergic reaction which was mild at first but got progressively worse. Delaware passed the medical marijuana act in 2011, but we didn't get a dispensary open until last year. We're supposed to have one in each of 3 counties, but it's taking forever. In the meantime, there's only the one dispensary and the selection is limited but slowly getting better. The key thing about getting a card is having a legal defense to have marijuana on you, to use it in privacy, as well as possession of paraphernalia- which would've been minimum mandatory crimes otherwise. Also, Delaware decriminalized possession of up to one ounce for non-medical MJ residents so the legal environment is slowly changing for the better. I know some people think State's medical marijuana programs are just a clever disguise to legitimize getting high, but the truth is marijuana is medicine, has been for millennia- and for people like me, I'm glad it's available. One medicine is taking the place of what used to be several powerful prescriptions including antidepressants, sleep aids, and appetite enhancers not to mention anti-muscle spasm and pain meds. No side effects, no drug interaction precautions- I live in a better world for it with quality of life I wasn't going to get anywhere else.
