I was just going to start a thread. Pens already look like they are playing a back to back in the afternoon. At least MAF looks good.

That was career point 300 for Hornqvist.

Edit: as I type this NBC mentions it.

Pens do a good pk, and the first shot is a goal. Because of course.

Why is every powerplay goal the Pens give up from a screen by a Penguin?

A fair catch? Really NBC?

Interference, the most inconsistently called penalty in the NHL.

He's got such a good shot and he's pretty smart. He's lit it up at the AHL level too. Could maybe be a thing.

I think this is my favorite call out for his goals.

He got a goal in the one game he was sent down for at the All Star break. He's also still second in goals in the AHL even though he hasn't played in a while.

They say it's a knee injury, that somehow morphed from day-to-day to 2+ weeks.

But they let him play in the ASG of course because Penguins. He probably hurt himself there.

I think it's from when he got hit knee on knee. He was skating but not practicing with the team, I don't think they want to bring him back until he gets some practice with the team first. (That's how Bennet got reinjured, they rushed him back)

There is a disturbingly high number of former Wilkes-Barre coaches that are/were very recently NHL coaches.
Just at a glance I'd have to imagine it's the most unless there's some other coach factory out there.

e:
Michel Therrien, Todd Richards (relieved this season), Bylsma, Hynes, and Sullivan

Therrien was an NHL coach before his stint in WBS so I don't really count him. Ditto for Mike Sullivan.

Bylsma & Hynes were both first time NHL head coaches though, and I think so was Todd Richards
