changed up my usual breakfast moka pot for a french press today. nice change, gives a much more mellow brew perfect for a sunday afternoon

About a week ago I understood for the first time what people have been saying about Starbucks (burnt). I never grasped it until I actually took the time to taste a cup of decentish (Stonecreek) coffee. I don't think i can go back to Starbucks anymore.

I've had some really bad Starbucks at airports and hotels and poo poo but the standalone ones I've been to have been pretty decent. Obviously given the choice I don't go to Starbucks but it doesn't have much to do with their coffee

starbucks mobile ordering is it's only redeeming quality there was a starbucks across from my metro stop so i used to mobile order, run in, open palm slam down an iced coffee on the escalator as i descended into the bowels of the metro it was a new thing and a couple times some yuppie would yell that they had beeeeen waiiittting and why is this MANNN GETTING COFFFEEEE BEFORE MEEEEEEE

So there were also technical factors involved. No mobile app yet though.
