I think you misunderstand (moosunderstand?) what Fortuna is doing, Theantero. Convincing part of the population to turn against Legendairy could avoid war and may end his campaign of terror over one of the five peoples of Somewhere (the Fortugnat). This isn't an anti-Laitache move, it's an anti-Legendairy-and-moosiles hail mary.

Aabcehmu posted:Does anyone else think it's terribly appropriate that the precipitation of the goddess of fortune is, not only the first god to roll a crit sux, but to roll two in row? I think it's a shame the real goddess of fortune couldn't manage to do the same.

1 B We don't want to stand out too much 2 G "What do you think about this whole Sun Temple thing? It's weird, right? Are you representing the Verre? Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." 2 E "It's been a long time, probably too long. Remember when ..." Talk to her about the old days while angling to see what the discs she's holding say. 2 C Talk to Stake about his thoughts on the Sun and Morning Lord, and suggest he go to see Lotz to get a portrait done

dog kisser forgot to add posted:Stake hauled himself out of the rubble of his hopes and dreams, cursing his very survival. He knew what it meant, and he knew what it cost. Many or most of his Riskers had bent the odds for him and paid the price for it. The fools should have let him die and saved themselves, but he didn't have time to dwell on it. His own Sorcerisk had saved as many civilians as he could, and he called on the survivors now to look for anyone else in the wreckage. As for himself, he went to examine the corpse of Patina. Wow!
