I have insanely bad sleep apnea, how much would a decent cpap cost me? I want to make sure it's comfortable and will last a few years at least.

Retail Slave posted:Are you insured? Because othewise the machine goes into a couple thousand if you get it though a medical supply company. You could probably get one for about $500-800 on eBay if you're willing to pay out of pocket. But they last a while if you are really good about cleaning all your equipment. The headgear stretches out though and will need to be replaced about 3-4 times a year. I'm "insured", but with a $2,000 deductible and the lowest co-insurance rate I have being 30%, I would have saved a lot of money this year if I just went without insurance entirely despite all my prescriptions and doctors visits. I severely doubt this garbage insurance won't even cover a CPAP machine anyway. Do you know any brands/models that aren't lovely?

The Snoo posted:wow this explains so much, thank you As a retarded and clueless about life in general person, my mind is having trouble understanding how that's more comfortable instead of less. Explain? (Especially because snoring less is something I definitely loving need)
