genesplicer posted:I walked out on "Airplane". Not because I didn't like the movie (it was part of a triple feature, "Airplane", "Airplane 2" and "Airplane"), but because I was on a date with my girlfriend, and when "Airplane" came on the second time, she suggested that the time might be better spent back at her house. Why would they show the same movie twice?

i saw the chernobyl diaries with a group of people. i think we're prob the only people to actually enjoy that movie. group of dumb teens go to pripyat escorted by russian bear man. we were making 'russia drink vodka eyyy comrade i buy bear' jokes because it was that hamfistedly bad an accent. one of the first jump scares in the movie theyre on the top floor of an abandoned high rise and the absolute worst loving cgi bear charges out of nowhere down a hallway. like huge buildup to the most confusing and not scary jump scare in history. we were the only ones who laughed and i dont see how https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnSWmnfYd_I

She made me turn it off in the middle of the scene where they burn the dad and get into the trailer and kept asking me why I liked it and broke up with me a couple weeks later. I still think it's really good

Didn't we just have one of these threads a few months ago? Anyway, a friend was visiting for a few days and on his last day in town we decided to go see a movie with a few of our other friends. They all wanted to see Suckerpunch so we said okay, since we weren't going to have to pay for it (another buddy is the manager at that theater and we get in for free). About twenty minutes in I and my visiting friend decided the movie was terrible and that we were leaving, which upset some of our other friends, but it was complete loving garbage and his last day in town so we didn't feel bad about it.

I walked out of the movie The Spirit. The dialogue was so ham-fisted that I couldn't take it any more and left. I also had the brilliant idea to sneak into Lady in the Water after my movie was over, but after I fell asleep during the intro I gave up.

Only movie I think I walked out of was The Hulk 2006. Me and my cousin snuck in and both thought it was so awful we left. What a mess, I've never had a movie make me so angry. So what I'm saying is we hulked out of there

Only once, because I'm not a retard and can read the reviews before committing to spending the time and money to watch the movie That one time it was an organized event and featured a horrible Christmas/rom-com type of movie. I and a couple of coworkers left and got drunk in a nearby pool hall instead, then came back for the free food.

You're boring enough that critics reviews work for you haha. Too often ive liked movies critics hated and hated ones they liked. Its a loving 50/50 crapshoot whether or not critics got it right so the fact you're a boring turd who plays it safe 100% of the time just makes you boring not smart. "Not retarded" spare me fuckman

The one time I walked out (half an hour into the movie) I just asked at the front and I got a refund. Don't go to movies that you're likely to hate. If you do this accidentally with any frequency, do more research before you go drop your If you find yourself often unable to sit through things that are widely loved, consider the possibility that you may have bad taste. I walked out of Elephant. It's a Gus Van Sant movie about a school shooting. It was just too intense and really pretentious. It doubly sucked because my friends loved it and HAD to talk about how important it was and how could I walk out of it? Plus Van Sant directed that horrible Psycho remake so I really can't forgive him.

I walked out of "I am Legend." At the time I went to see it, it was a random impulse of the guy I was dating at the time to go see it. I knew absolutely nothing about the film before that. It sounds really loving lame, but for some reason the zombies in this film particularly frightened me. So yes, as a 20 year old, I walked out of a film because I thought it was too scary.
