Why not just use a hair dryer? I remember someone doing that to fish on the Japanese Iron Chef back in the day.

I was at my inlaws over the weekend and they spent like an hour watching Restaurant Impossible revisited, where the first 45 minutes were recapping a 2012 episode, with a few minutes of Robert coming in at the end to check in on the restaurant and test them by bringing in extra people that night.

Not much on the food television front, but I went to a fantastic "restaurant" run by 3 MasterChef competitors, https://frankunderground.com/. Sadly it's been on hiatus for awhile.
