I love how chess obsessed Norway becomes under the World championship. Topped with roughly 350 000 on average watching game 4, just on one of the two main channels people watch the WC. Pretty impressive for a country of 5,2 million people.

Looking at 2700chess.com, the rating difference is slightly bigger in rapid. But it's difficult to say considering how out of form Carlsen has been playing.
