I attended the "1" and also saw one of the "2" live.

Also, they keep adding CBJ SOG post-game. They ended at 59 and are up to 61.

the refs in this league are really failing to hide their bias anymore. some teams can just grab all day with no justice. the league is hosed

also, apparently kicking a puck to your stick horizontal to the net, but having it deflect 90 degrees off the goalie, somehow breaks the 'kick the puck directly into the net' rule.

but the hand-pass goal wasn't reviewable.

great job league

if by "teams" you mean "all of them" then that's probably true because game management is real, and it's stupid. "hmm you had a penalty committed against you but i dont think you worked hard enough for it so im gonna ignore it"
"well the last call went against this team so i'm gonna nail the other team as hard as i can for something as soon as they give me an excuse"

Does Sutter have a NTC? I'm thinking he does because how else could we get him on such a sweet deal. Otherwise we could have just given him to Vegas.

Not only does he have an NTC, upon signing his extension he received the first (and to date only) retroactive NTC in league history. It applied not just to his new contract set to start the following summer, but also covered the final year of his old one too which was previously unprotected.

Interested to see if the Flames can get back to Bettman .500 tonight. They've had a nice run lately, even with Johnny out - of course, much of it is due to Chad Johnson turning into Miikka Kiprusoff, so who knows how long it'll last.

So with that game last now, Fleury finds himself at 38th out of all goalies with more than 8 starts, with a whopping .904 save percentage. He "won" with a .903
Murray, currently rocking a .929, sits for that headcase because the guys really like him.

Hey, JR and Mike Sullivan - this is not a 1a/1b platoon situation. Sit Fleury, and if he complains tell him to waive his NTC.

The goal shall not be allowed if the puck has been intentionally kicked with his skate or foot, using a distinct kicking motion, and subsequently enters the net.

That's the actual rule, so ya that goal shouldn't count, but keep screaming at the sky.

Corey Crawford will be out for 2-3 weeks. The Hawks recalled Lars Johansson to be the backup, a 29-year old who has never played in the NHL before. This could be a rough couple weeks as Crawford has compensated for the Hawks middling possession numbers.

Nick Schmaltz was sent down to make room on the roster, too. He has been somewhat underwhelming here this season, but he's also only 20 and extra playing time in Rockford should do him a world of good.

Nah, because Chicago is on the list too and everyone knows when the Blues and Blackhawks face off, it's the hawks that get the ref favoritism.

This is like Nathan Horton scoring a goal in a game in which he didn't compete, the continuation of the Rich Peverley game; Horton was hurt when it was replayed, but the goal counted and the game started 1-0 CBJ.

Frankly, the specific industry involved has little bearing on the rest of that desire. I'd just as readily accept "Trevor Linden woke up to find shrubbery trimmed into penises, butts," headline, or "Trevor Linden entered hospital for routine physical, left with new brain." I ain't picky.
